Welcome home to Conningbrook Lakes, a new development of over 300 high-quality, contemporary houses offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to live within Conningbrook Country Park, a popular, family-oriented nature reserve on the outskirts of Ashford, Kent, featuring lakes, ponds, woodland and grassland. Four have been telling its’ story from the very beginning.
Conningbrook Lakes began as an exercise in branding and has become an exercise in placemaking. Our identity plays upon our main USP – the lakes – and adds a bit of inspiration from great UK outdoor brands like Barbour/Land Rover/Hunter. A hexagonal icon based on the position of the lakes is a recognisable graphic device. It reflects bee hives and other natural forms and appropriates them for our identity. There’s a country ‘softness’ here.
It’s not a hard city brand - we are looking at a slower pace of life in an area of natural beauty. Lifestyle over everything else. It’s ‘contemporary country’. A few years on and now entering Phase 5 of the development, Four continue to deliver a brand and marketing campaign that is still engaging residents, old and new.
